Ginger is very useful, and I do swear by the tea

Ginger is regarded as an exceptionally tasty and beneficial food source with medicinal properties. It is especially good when paired up with honey. Please be careful not to eat ginger for medicinal purposes if you are using aspirin or blood thinners as ginger thins the blood and a combination of the two is really not wise.

Ginger is great stuff. When I "juiced" more religiously I used to cut of a chunk of ginger root and toss it in the juicer with the carrots and celery. Makes it very "lively."

Ginger is wonderful. I didn't appreciate it until recently years but I really like it now, and it is good to know how good for us it is. I use a teriyaki sauce that has chuncks of ginger in it. It is so good.
